2. Charge, order or direction
3. Authority granted for a portion.
4. What is before us today is a command by our captain, our general.
A. Reasons For Not Sharing The Goodnews
1. Self-Centeredness – Anyone who is only focused on their needs and interests would find it difficult to engage in the Great Commission

1. Evangelism
2. Witnessing
a. Describe Your Life Before Jesus (BC)
b. Describe How you met and gave your life to Jesus
c. Describe your life after you met Jesus (Your AD)
3. Soulwinning
C. Where Do I Begin? When you become saved, the first people to witness to are your household.
D. Some Benefits of Fulfilling the Great Commission
a. Whatever you ask for will be given to you.
b. You get a Soul winner’s crown
c. You shine like a star forever
d. You will make God happy
e. Other things will be added to you.
The General Overseer made prayers and then His Excellency, Olusegun Matthew Aremu Obasanjo was welcomed and ushered in by the General Overseer.
He was introduced and then he began his teaching with details below:
TOPIC: THE ROLE OF THE CHURCH IN NATION BUILDING IN A TIME LIKE THIS (John 17:14)
BY: His Excellency, Olusegun Matthew Aremu Obasanjo
NOTES:
• The church is not the building, nor the clergy. The church is the Body of Christ.
• If you’re a follower of Christ, you are a member of the Church.
• The foundation of politics in Nigeria is corruption; and if corruption is the foundation of anything, the result can never be good.
• The church must stick to the values that set them apart and reject to be a part of CORRUPTION
• What will Christ do if He finds Himself in the circumstance, I find myself?
• We must follow and imitate Christ’s example.
• Light makes Life worth living
• We are in the world but not of the WORLD
• The world is essentially dark, the church is expected to STAND-OUT and LIT the world up.
• In everything we do, we must RISE and SHINE!
• The reason politics is dirty is because the people in it are DIRTY!
• Men and Women of light will build a nation that will be a Kingdom of God on earth.
• The church is supposed to flavour its environment and make it what God wants it to be.
• The task of nation building is an endless journey and not a destination.
He concluded by indulging the church to step into their right ordination as Lights and Salt of the world.
The General Overseer thanked him and on behalf of the church and the executives he presented him a Leadership Award of Excellence. Anointed men of God were then invited to pray on different aspects and spheres.
Afterwards, the service offering was coordinated by Pastor Paul Odunsin (R.P., Region 14), Pastor Peter Oyewole (D.P., Itamaga) gave the announcements and the benediction and closing prayers was rendered by the General Overseer. He thanked the congregation for their patience and for massive coordination throughout the day’s session.
