CONVENTION DAY TWO (MORNING SERVICE)
FULL SUMMARY

The Day 2 morning session at Rehoboth began with an energetic worship led by the praise team. The General moderator, Pastor P.B Ewenla, coined a slogan for Rehoboth – “Rehoboth….my broad place.” He then introduced Pastor Ezekiel Afolabi to lead the Rehoboth prayer rain session titled “Purify me like gold” based on Malachi 3:1-3.

The choir guided the congregation in a time of praise and worship. Pastor P.B Ewenla, the General moderator, then introduced Pastor Jerome Aina as the moderator for the morning session of day 2. Pastor Aina called upon Evangelist Femi Praise, the District Evangelist from Ilesha District, to lead the congregation in the morning supplication.
The former National choir director led the entire church in singing congregational hymn 135.
Next, the former Deputy General Overseer, Pastor (Prof) S.O Ewuola, delivered a Bible exposition from Revelation Chapter one.
NOTES:
The dimension of Jesus that came for the reconciliation of man is different to the dimension of Him to experience in the last days.
Luke 4: He was presented as He who is coming again.
When Jesus comes, it will be unbelievable to the unbelievers.
The coming Jesus is the coming Messiah

MYSTERY OF THE SEVEN STARS
The seven stars stands for the church
Leaders should not grow fat while the members grow lean.

Following that, Pastor Paul Adaramola (National Evangelist, Region 1) led the congregation in giving thanks for answered prayer requests from previous conventions up until now.

Evangelist Felix Egbekoya, Assistant General Evangelist Operations, then introduced participants from different regions, nations, and also recognized non members of GOFAMINT.

Pastor Olaiya Taiwo, DP Bariga, facilitated the service offering. Subsequently, Pastor Emmanuel Afolabi, Assistant General Overseer of Training, introduced the General Overseer, Pastor E.O Abina, for the main teaching.

TEACHING ONE:
– No minister has the monopoly of the Holy Spirit.
– If you’re not being envied, you’re still struggling.
MEANING OF REHOBOTH (Genesis 26)
1. Rehoboth is a Hebrew word meaning Broad Place, Wide open space, plenty of rooms, enlargement.
NOTES
– God will take you from narrow places to broad places where there will be room for your enlargement in Jesus Name
– Faith does the impossible.
– You don’t need faith to do what is possible.
2. REHOBOTH is God’s will for you
– To the childless, Rehoboth is fruitfulness
– To the poor, Rehoboth is financial prosperity
– To the sick, Rehoboth is healing
– To the captive and afflicted, Rehoboth is deliverance
– To the unmarried, Rehoboth is a glorious marriage
– To the students, God will give you wisdom, knowledge and academic excellence in Jesus’ name.
3. Being a Child of God will not exempt you from Life’s challenges
4. Keys to Accessing Your Rehoboth
– Know the Mind of God on issues of your life (Gen. 26:1-4; 1 Sam. 30:8; Prov. 3:5-7)
– Obey God (Gen. 26:6; Deut. 28:1-13)
– Take Action (Gen. 26:12; Gen. 12:1-3)
– Expect Challenges if you ever want to be great (Gen. 26:12-14)
– Choose your battles wisely (Gen. 26:15-17)
– Never Give Up, Never Quit (Gen. 26:18-22)
– Be a Sower (Gen. 26:12-13)
– Learn to give to the Lord, it was when Isaac sowed that he had great crops to read.
The General Overseer prayed for some people with different heartfelt desires and requests as touching the convention after which the General Secretary shared the benediction and the morning session was brought to a close.
