Always Abound In The Lord’s Work

1 Cor. 15:58

When a person knows that there is a reward for what he or she is doing, he is encouraged to do it better and improve on the works so as to attract more reward. It is quite unfortunate that the way many Christians are handling God’s work is as if there is nothing at stake or they don’t have anything to gain. They put in their best in their secular jobs but do God’s work the way they like, since they are not being paid salary at the end of the month. Such thinking does not take into consideration our passage of today. Know that your labour for God is not in vain. It has both earthly and eternal rewards. Therefore, be steadfast, immovable and always abounding in the work of the Lord, for in due season you shall be rewarded. (1 Cor. 15:58)

Point of Emphasis:          Put in your best while doing God’s work.

Prayer Point:                                     Lord, help me to be motivated to work for You by my love for You and the reward in view.

TRAVAILLE TOUJOURS DE MIEUX EN MIEUX A L’ŒUVRE DU SEIGNEUR

1 COR. 15 :58

Quand une personne se rend compte qu’il y a une récompense pour ce qu’elle fait, elle est encouragée à mieux faire et à améliorer les œuvres pour s’attirer plus de récompenses. C’est assez regrettable de constater la façon dont plusieurs chrétiens s’occupent a faire l’œuvre de Dieu si comme rien n’est en jeu ou s’ils n’ont rien à gagner. Ils investissent tous leurs gros efforts à faire leurs travaux séculiers mais font l’œuvre de Dieu comme ils le veulent étant donné qu’ils n’en reçoivent rien comme salaire à la fin du mois. Une pareille pensée ne prend pas en considération notre passage d’aujourd’hui. Sache que ton travail pour Dieu n’est pas en vain. Il détient à la fois des récompenses éternelles et celles ici-bas. Ainsi, sois ferme, inébranlable, travaillant de mieux en mieux à l’œuvre du Seigneur, car au moment opportun, tu seras récompensé. (1Co 15:58).

Point essentiel : Fais de ton mieux en faisant l’œuvre de Dieu.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à être motivé à travailler pour toi à travers mon amour pour toi et la récompense à cette fin.
