Evidences Of Spiritual Growth

2 Cor. 13:1-9

Spiritual growth should not be a hidden thing; the evidence of growth should be manifest. A Christian needs to examine himself – carry out self-evaluation either he is growing or stagnant. The question should be “am I growing more and more in manifesting the fruit of the Spirit?” Love, joy, peace, self-control and the rest of the fruit of the Spirit should manifest in greater dimension in my life. One of the evidences of spiritual growth is ability to control one’s speech; the mature Christian will not talk carelessly. Another sign of spiritual growth which should manifest, is heavenly wisdom – wisdom that is pure, peaceable, gentle, willing to yield and full of mercy. The Christian that is growing spiritually will practice more and more the various disciplines that promote maturity – daily devotion, meditation, Bible reading, fellowship, worship, giving etc.

Point of Emphasis:        Evaluate your spiritual growth to know if indeed you are maturing.

Prayer Point:                    Holy Spirit, empower me to keep growing spiritually. I will never stagnate in Jesus’ name.

L’EVIDENCE DE LA MATURITE SPIRITUELLE

2CO. 13 :1-9
