Jesus’ Presence There In The Congregation

Matt. 18:15-20

Someone might want to stay away from fellowship because another brother has offended him. Jesus gives the instruction of what to do when there is such an offence. The offence should not keep an individual away from fellowship. It is true that one can enjoy the presence of God alone in one’s private communion with God but that will not suffice. When Christians gather together in Jesus’ name, He promised to be there in their midst. There is corporate anointing when people of the same mind gather together for fellowship; greater than when only one person is in communion with God. All things being equal, the anointing will be so great that anything they bind, remains bound and anything they set loose, remains loosed. We should work towards removing any obstacle that would hinder us from enjoying this privilege given to us.

Point of Emphasis:        Wherever two or three are gathered together in Jesus’ name, He is there with them.

Prayer Point:            We cast away from our midst every hindrance which makes it impossible for us to enjoy the presence of Jesus in our fellowship.

LA PRESENCE DE JESUS LA-BAS DANS LA CONGREGATION

MATT. 18 :15-20

Quelqu’un voudrait se tenir à l’écart de l’assemblée car offensé par un autre pair. Jésus donne une instruction sur ce qu’il y a à faire en pareille circonstance. Cette offense ne doit pas faire tenir un individu à l’écart de l’assemblée. Il est vrai que l’on peut jouir de la présence de Dieu quand on est seul dans sa communion privée avec lui. Quand les chrétiens sont assemblés au nom de Jésus, il promet d’être là au milieu d’eux. Il y a une onction corporative quand des gens qui sont du même avis s’assemblent en communion, onction plus grande que lorsqu’une seule personne est en communion avec Dieu. Toutes choses étant égales, l’onction sera si grande que tout ce qu’ils lieront restera lié et tout ce qu’ils délieront restera délié. Nous devons travailler à ôter tout obstacle qui nous empêcherait de jouir de ce privilège qui nous a été donné.

Point essentiel : Car là où deux ou trois sont assemblés en mon nom, je suis au milieu d’eux.

Axe de prière : Nous ôtons de notre milieu tout obstacle qui fait qu’il est impossible pour nous de jouir de la présence de Jésus dans notre communion.
