Be Faithful To The Task

Matt. 24:45-50

The call of each and everyone of us by the Lord Jesus as His followers is for a purpose. Each one was recruited for a specific duty or task. He says in John 15:16 that we did not choose Him but He chose us that we might bear fruits; fruits that will abide. Nonetheless, some will abandon the job for which they were recruited, either because the job is difficult or because of distractions or selfish ambition or persecutions. Equally, there will be some who will be faithful and diligent in the duty to which they have been called. There will be great rewards for the latter if they keep busy until the coming of our Lord Jesus. The question is; will the Lord Jesus find you faithful performing the task He assigned to you when He comes back?

Point of Emphasis:     Jesus will handsomely reward those He finds faithfully carrying out the assigned tasks.

Prayer Point:              Lord Jesus, grant me the grace not to disappoint you in performing the tasks you assigned to me.
