You Have Overcome The World

1 Jn. 5:4:13

John writes about the love of God for us. If we believe in the Son of God, we have overcome the world and have eternal life. You must have probably heard of couples breaking away after they had publicly declared their love for each other. The love of God for you is perfect if you have the fear of God and what He might do when you sin. He cannot break away from you. The faith that overcomes the world is a faith that sees eternal realities, experiences the power of God and loves Christ to an extent the worlds ungodly ways and sinful pleasures have no power over. We should, therefore, maintain a vital faith relationship with Jesus. God’s people have authorities and assurance of faith that overcomes the world and have salvation and hope of eternal life.

Point of Emphasis:         “Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world…” (v. 4)

Prayer Point:                  Let genuine faith manifest itself in me as a gratitude to the love of Christ for me, O Lord.

TU AS VAINCU LE MONDE

1JEAN 5 :4-13    

Jean écrit à propos de l’amour de Dieu pour nous. Si nous croyons au fils de Dieu, nous avons vaincu le monde et avons la vie éternelle. Tu aurais peut-être appris des ruptures entre des couples après avoir publiquement déclaré leur amour l’un pour l’autre. L’amour de Dieu pour toi est parfait si tu as en toi la crainte de Dieu et ce qu’il peut faire quand tu pèches. Il ne peut pas se séparer de toi. La foi qui triomphe du monde est la foi qui voit les réalités éternelles, qui fait l’expérience de la puissance de Dieu et qui aime Christ jusqu’au point où les voies mondaines et impies et les plaisirs de péché ne peuvent pas avoir de pouvoir sur elle. Nous devons donc maintenir une foi de rapport vital avec Jésus. Les hommes de Dieu ont de l’autorité et l’assurance de foi qui triomphe du monde et ont le salut et l’espérance de la vie éternelle.

Point essentiel : « Quiconque est né de Dieu triomphe du monde… »

Axe de prière : Seigneur, que la foi véritable se manifeste en moi comme une reconnaissance à l’amour de Christ pour moi.
