Jesus Came To Save People From Sin

Matt. 1:18-25

Centuries before the birth of Jesus, prophecies had gone forth through the prophets about the nature of His conception, birth and mission. Isaiah had prophesied that Jesus would be born by a virgin and His name would be called Emmanuel (Isa. 7:14). When the time came for Jesus to be born, it came to pass as God had spoken it. His conception was through the Holy Spirit and the angel of the Lord told Joseph that His name would be Jesus, which means Saviour, for He will save His people from their sin. This is the main mission of Jesus. Has He saved you from your sins? If you are still toying with sin, then the coming of Jesus into the world is yet to have any positive effect in your life. You can make amends by deciding for Jesus today.

Point of Emphasis:          There is no other name through which man can be saved except the name of Jesus.

Prayer Point:                                     Jesus, Your coming will not be in vain in my life and family.
