FOCUS: GREAT GRACE FOR ALL GOFAMINT MEMBERS TO WILLINGLY AND FAITHFULLY GIVE THEIR FIRST FRUIT.
Texts: 1 Chronicles 18:11; 29:1-9
INSIGHT FOR EFFECTIVE AND FERVENT PRAYERS.
To give is never a problem in GOFAMINT but to give willingly, faithfully and sacrificially is the bane. Let us consider that all we have is God’s inheritance shared to us. Giving it back to God is a test and the means of tapping God’s unstoppable blessings. The Lord Jesus asked Peter “Do you love me than all these?” This is the time to answer Jesus like Peter in similar manner, “yes Lord, I love you more than my income and earthly possessions” (John 21:15-17).
We shall give like Abel (Gen. 4:4), he brought firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof, nothing is good for God but the best.
We shall give like Hannah who gave what she had, even before having it and after, she fulfilled her promise and gave Samuel to God (1 Sam. 1:11, 27-28).
We shall give like king David who prepared all needed materials to build the temple that was later built by his son Solomon:
1 Chro. 29:2, Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood the things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
Vs 9: then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the Lord, and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
Let us give like our God who supplies all we need and to crown it all, gave His only begotten son (John 3:16).
Let us give like Jesus who gave His life as a ransom for mankind.
The first fruit special donation is a landmark giving that will change our lives from glory to glory; this kind of giving will take care of our needs and change our destinies. On the other hand, our failure to do the needful will lead to painful experience.
LET US PRAY
- Thank You father for keeping me alive to witness the first fruit (special) donation of this Great Mission.
- Oh God, count me worthy among the people that will willingly give their first fruit.
- Oh God, all we have belong to You, touch our hearts to give generously.
- Oh God, fill our hearts with the joy of giving to this lofty project.
- Father, help those whose hearts are troubled on how to handle their first fruit.
- Lord, let our heavens be opened, right from now for greater exploits.
- In Jesus precious name, there will be no misfortune in any family and individual’s life now or later.
- Oh God, inspire every GOFAMINT member for better participation.
- After the first fruit special donation, we shall not be in want.
- After the first fruit special donation, blessings will flow in our lives and Church.
- As we shall willingly give, God will bless us willingly.
- That each assembly, Area/ District and Region will move to greater heights in Jesus name.
