Are Buried With Him At

Baptism   Rom. 6:1-4

The moment the person to be baptised steps into the water, every step taken has spiritual connotation that connects believers with the death and burial of Jesus. When the person backs the people as he is going into the water, it signifies the death of the person, saying bye-bye to the world. When the person is immersed in the water, he surrendered himself into the hand of the minister as the dead no longer in charge of his life and that also symbolised being buried with Jesus. If a believer is dead and buried just as Jesus was, it is a demonstration and affirmation of his or her faith in the salvation and justification which Jesus’ death and burial purchased for man.

Point of Emphasis: You are saved, not by the blood of goats but by the precious blood of Jesus.

Prayer Point:            Thank You Lord for dying for my sin and for saving me.

NOUS SOMMES ENSEVELIS AVEC LUI AU BAPTEME

RO. 6 :1-4
