Prayer Ushers In The Holy Spirit
Acts 2:1-12
Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He had given instruction to His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were endued with the power from on high. The disciples were obedient and gathered together in the upper room. They were not there discussing the political or religious situation of their country, they were not doing any other things that can distract them from the promised Holy Spirit. Rather, they were praying and waiting for what Christ promised them. The reason why many Christians have not received the Holy Spirit baptism is because they have not really prayed and God also knows that they are not expectant. The Holy Spirit came upon the disciples in the early Church in the course of prayer. How much have you prayed for the Holy Spirit baptism?
Point of Emphasis: Pray to receive the Holy Spirit that you may be able to pray in the Spirit.
Point of Emphasis: Lord, give me the grace to pray for Holy Spirit baptism.

LA PRIERE CONDUIT AU SAINT-ESPRIT
ACTES 2:1-12
Avant que Jésus ne monta au ciel, il avait instruit ses disciples de rester à Jérusalem jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient revêtus de la puissance d’en-haut. Les disciples furent obéissants et s’assemblèrent dans la chambre haute. Ils n’y étaient pas pour discuter de la situation politique ou religieuse de leur pays, ils n’y faisaient aucune autre chose qui puisse les distraire du Saint-Esprit promis ; plutôt, ils priaient et attendaient ce que Christ leur avait promis. La raison pour laquelle beaucoup de chrétiens n’ont pas encore reçu le baptême du Saint-Esprit est parce qu’ils n’ont pas encore réellement prié et Dieu sait aussi qu’ils ne sont pas en attente. Le Saint-Esprit descendit sur les disciples dans l’Eglise primitive pendant qu’ils priaient. Combien as-tu prié pour le baptême du Saint-Esprit ?
Point essentiel : Prie pour recevoir le Saint-Esprit afin que tu puisses prier dans l’Esprit.
