Holy Spirit Reveals God To Men

Jn. 16:12-16

The depth of revival which a congregation enjoys depends on the depth of the revelation of God the members have. There is a limit to how much of God we can know through academic studies or through theological expositions. The greatest way of coming into the truth about God and His plans is through the Holy Spirit. One of the important reasons why God sent the Holy Spirit to the Church is that He might reveal God and the truth about Him to the Church. The ministry of the Holy Spirit should not be stifled because of the fear of infiltration of evil spirits. Church leaders should depend on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them into all truth, including the discerning of spirits.

Point of Emphasis:    When the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth.

Prayer Point:             Holy Spirit, take Your rightful place in our midst and guide us into all truth.
