Living A Life Without Compromise

Dan. 1:1-20

In life, tempting situations do come, only those who have already determined and placed their priority right, find it easy to make right choices. Daniel was faced with a difficult choice, either to obey God’s command or compromise and heed the king’s instruction which is contrary to God’s command. He knew that what God expects from us is greater than immoral or arbitrary rules of the king even when it is obeyed by everyone around. Determine your value and decide to stand by it. Sometime you will be faced with a temptation to compromise, you should know that your success in this Christian race solely depends on your ability not to compromise. Daniel and his friends determined and remained faithful to God.

Point of Emphasis:         “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself…” (v 8)

Prayer Point:                  Help me O Lord to posses excellence, high standard, inward strength and values that I may not compromise my godly stand.

MENER UNE VIE SANS COMPROMIS

DANIEL 1:1-20

Dans la vie, des situations de tentation peuvent en effet surgir, seulement ceux qui se sont résolus et qui surent ordonner leurs priorités, le trouvent facile à faire de bons choix. Daniel était confronté à un choix difficile, soit d’obéir au commandement de Dieu ou de compromettre et de tenir compte de l’instruction du roi, laquelle est contraire au commandement de Dieu. Il savait que ce que Dieu attendait de nous était plus grand que les règles arbitraires et immorales du roi quand même tout le monde y obéit. Décide de ta valeur et en tiens-toi. Il se peut que tu sois confronté souvent à la tentation de compromettre, sache que ton succès dans cette course chrétienne dépend seulement de ta capacité de  ne pas compromettre. Daniel et ses amis s’étaient résolus et sont restés fideles à Dieu.

Point essentiel : Daniel résolut de ne pas se souiller … (V.8)

Axe de prière : Aide-moi, Seigneur, a posséder de  l’excellence, des normes élevées, de la force intérieure et des principes afin que je ne puisse pas compromettre ma position pieuse.
