DAILY DEVOTIONAL READING
Paul says that our salvation is nearer than when we first became believers. Christians should be in the business of turning away from darkness and living in the light of Christ’s holiness. Paul believes in the Lord’s imminent return to transfer the faithful of His church to Heaven. The Lord’s return is at a time which no one knows except God. In view of this, God’s children should always be spiritually ready and cast off the works of darkness. You must be so united and identified with Christ, also pattern your life after Him to become like Him. Reject immorality and acts of sinful nature completely.
Point of Emphasis: Let us walk properly as in the day.
Prayer Point: Help me oh Lord to heed your warning by putting armour of light and not darkness.
