 Ask For The Ancient Paths of Holiness

Jer. 6:13-20

Our Churches are filled with people who seek God’s blessings and protection. We want God to move on our behalf and fight our battles for us. But at the same time we are not walking according to His commandments. God is willing to revive His Church and bring healing to His body. He had done it in the past, to men of old who sought His face in spirit and in truth. We read of His mighty acts in the Bible. He is able and is willing to carry out these acts again in the Church. What the Church needs to do to experience His mighty act again is to seek the way the men of old walked with Him and follow the same path. They walked in holiness and had full commitment to God and His work. They loved one another with genuine love. They were thirstier for the things above than the things on this earth.

Point of Emphasis:     Ask for the old paths and walk therein and you shall find rest for your souls.

Prayer Point:              Father, give us the obedient spirit that will walk in the old path of holiness.

REQUEREZ LES ANCIENNES VOIX DE SAINTETE

JER. 6:13-20

Nos églises sont pleines de gens en quête de bénédictions et de protection. Nous voulons que Dieu marche de notre part et qu’il combatte nos combats pour nous. Mais en même temps, nous ne marchons pas selon ses commandements. Dieu désire ranimer son Eglise et apporter la guérison à son corps. Il l’a fait dans le passé aux gens des temps anciens qui avaient cherché sa face dans l’esprit et la vérité. Nous avons lu de ses œuvres puissantes dans la Bible. Il est capable et désireux d’accomplir ces œuvres encore dans l’Eglise. Ce dont l’Eglise a besoin pour connaître l’expérience de ses œuvres encore est de chercher à savoir comment les gens des temps anciens avaient marché avec lui et de suivre la même voix. Ils ont marché dans la sainteté et ont eu un dévouement total à Dieu et à ses œuvres. Ils se sont aimé les uns les autres d’un amour sincère. Ils avaient plus soif des choses d’en-haut que celles d’ici-bas.

Point essentiel : Requérez les voix anciennes et marchez-y et vous trouverez le repos de vos âmes.

Axe de prière : Père, accorde-nous l’esprit d’obéissance qui marchera dans la voix ancienne de sainteté.
