Give And You Shall Receive

LK. 6:32-38

In conformity with the principle of love, we must give to those in need, for God is the champion of the poor and the needy. He reveals Himself as their refuge, their helper, deliverer and their provider. Therefore, He instructed His people to manifest a deep concern for the poor and needy, especially for those within the Christian Church. When you give to the poor, I mean, to those who are hungry and thirsty; not to those colleagues of yours who do good or give gifts to you, then, God Himself will measure your giving and in return will give abundantly to you. The measure of blessing and reward we receive will be in proportion to our concern for and help given to others.

Point of Emphasis:     “…let us do good to all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith”  (Gal. 6:10).

Prayer Point:              Oh God, help us to trust Your continuing provision, so that we may give of our time and resources generously as You have called us to do.

DONNE ET TU RECEVRAS

LUC 6 :32-38

Conformément au principe de la charité (amour), nous devons donner à ceux qui sont dans le besoin car Dieu est le défenseur des pauvres et des nécessiteux. Il se révèle comme étant leur refuge, leur aide, leur sauveur et leur fournisseur. Il instruisit donc son peuple de manifester une préoccupation majeure envers les pauvres et les nécessiteux surtout envers ceux au sein de l’église chrétienne. Quand tu donnes aux pauvres, c’est-à-dire à ceux qui ont soif et faim, non pas à tes collègues qui te font du bien ou qui te donnent des présents, alors Dieu lui-même mesurera tes dons et te donnera abondamment en retour. La mesure de la bénédiction et de la récompense que nous recevons sera proportionnée à notre préoccupation pour les autres et l’aide qu’on leur donne

Point essentiel : …pratiquons le bien envers tous, et surtout envers les frères en la foi. (Ga. 6:10)

Axe de prière : O Dieu, aide-nous à faire confiance à ta provision continue, afin que nous puissions donner de notre temps et de nos ressources libéralement comme tu nous as appelés à le faire.
