Ready to Share The Redemption Story

1 Pet. 3:10-18

A Christian who chooses to grow spiritually will sometimes face persecution (2 Tim. 3:12). Unbelievers cannot understand why he does not join them to participate in their ways of life. There is the temptation for the believer to soft-pedal or compromise in order to avoid being persecuted. Compromise derails one in the journey to spiritual maturity. Instead of compromising, the committed Christian should be ready to give a good defence of himself for the reason for his faith. You should be prepared to clearly tell others the redemption story and the change which believing that story has brought into your life. Have you experienced the new nature which everyone who is in Christ must have? Have old things truly passed away in your life? You won’t have a story to tell if you have not undergone the new birth experience.

Point of Emphasis:        Be prepared to share your new birth experience with others.

Prayer Point:            Father, give me boldness to share my salvation experience with all who come my way.

PRET A PARTAGER L’HISTOIRE DE LA REDEMPTION

1PIE. 3 :10-18

Un chrétien qui choisit de grandir spirituellement fera souvent face à la persécution. (2Ti. 3 :12). Les non-croyants ne peuvent pas comprendre pourquoi il ne peut pas se joindre à eux pour participer à leurs styles de vie. Il existe pour les chrétiens la tentation de mettre la pédale douce ou de compromettre dans le but d’éviter d’être persécuté. Compromettre fait dérailler dans le voyage vers la maturité spirituelle. Au lieu de compromettre, le chrétien pieux doit s’apprêter à donner une bonne défense de lui-même pour la raison de sa foi. Tu dois te préparer à raconter clairement aux autres l’histoire de la rédemption et le changement que la croyance en cette histoire a apporté à ta vie. As-tu fait l’expérience de la nouvelle nature que quiconque en Christ doit avoir ? Les choses anciennes dans ta vie sont-elles vraiment passées ? Tu n’auras pas d’histoire à raconter si tu n’as pas subi l’expérience de la nouvelle naissance.

Point essentiel : Prépare-toi à partager avec d’autres l’histoire de l’expérience de ta nouvelle naissance.

Axe de prière : Père, accorde-moi l’audace de partager le salut de mon expérience avec tous ceux qui se présentent à moi.
