Can We Find Such A Man As This?

Gen. 41:14-38

We are all familiar with this story. Joseph had a gift of interpretation of dream. However, after interpreting the dream to Pharaoh, he demonstrated the gift of the word of wisdom with it. He went beyond analysing the impending problems suggested by the dream to proposing a wise solution as to how to avert the impending famine. How do we know that Joseph’s proposition is an example of the gift of word of wisdom? When Joseph asked Pharaoh to look for an officer who will carry out his proposed solution, Bible says  “And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants. And Pharaoh said, can we find one as this, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?” (vv. 37,38). This is the gift of the word of wisdom in action.

Point of Emphasis:     The gift of word of wisdom also solves problem.

Prayer Point:              Oh Lord, endow me with the gift of the word of wisdom that I may have solution to every problem.

TROUVERIONS-NOUS UN HOMME COMME CELUI-CI ?

Ge. 41 :14-38

Cette histoire nous est tous familière. Joseph avait le don d’interprétation de rêves. Cependant, après avoir interprété le rêve à Pharaon, il démontra le don de la parole de sagesse qui l’accompagne. Il alla au-delà de l’analyse des problèmes imminents tels que présentés par le rêve à la proposition d’une sage solution à savoir comment prévenir la famine imminente. Comment pouvons-nous savoir que la proposition de Joseph est un exemple du don de la parole de sagesse ? Quand Joseph demanda à Pharaon de trouver un officier qui accomplirait sa solution proposée, la Bible dit: « Ces paroles plurent à Pharaon et à tous ses serviteurs. Et Pharaon dit à ses serviteurs: Trouverions-nous un homme comme celui-ci, ayant en lui l’esprit de Dieu? » (Versets 37,38). C’est là le don de la parole de sagesse à l’œuvre. 

Point essentiel : Le don de la parole de sagesse résout aussi les problèmes.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, dote-moi du don de la parole de sagesse afin que j’aie la solution à tout problème.
