One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism

Eph. 4:1-16

Apostle Paul encourages the Christians in Ephesus to walk worthy of their vocation and calling in the Lord. They were admonished to forbear one another in love and to do everything possible in their power to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of love. The reason for this admonition is that all believers, have the same Lord, Jesus Christ, they have the same faith in the Lord, they all have one baptism as prescribed by the Lord Jesus. Therefore, they are bound together by the same goal, the same destination and the same ideology. They must therefore live together in peace, there should be no conflict or in-fighting among them.

Point Emphasis:     Believers have the same experience in the Lord, though at different levels and time.

Prayer Point:            Help me Lord to keep the bond of peace among my brethren.

UN SEIGNEUR, UNE FOI, UN BAPTEME

EPH. 4:1-16

L’apôtre Paul encouragea les chrétiens d’Ephèse de marcher dignes de leur vocation dans le Seigneur. Ils furent exhortés de se supporter les uns les autres dans la charité et de mettre tout en œuvre selon leur capacité à conserver l’unité de l’Esprit dans le lien de la charité. La raison de cet avertissement est que tous les croyants ont le même Seigneur, Jésus-Christ, la même foi au Seigneur et ont tous le même baptême comme prescrit par le Seigneur Jésus. Ils sont donc liés ensemble par le même but, la même destination et la même idéologie. Donc, ils doivent vivre ensemble en paix; il ne doit avoir ni conflit ni querelles internes entre eux.                    

Point essentiel : Les croyants ont la même expérience dans le Seigneur quoiqu’a différents niveaux et temps.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à conserver le lien de paix entre mes frères.
