Patience In Suffering

Jam. 5:7-11

James used the law of images to show that Christians grow to maturity like a seed awaiting harvest. He called us to be patient like a farmer who patiently waits for his harvest. The farmer is aware that if he cuts the corn too early, he will lose some of the benefits. We grow daily. As we wait on Jesus to return, so is He waiting on us to grow. He is preparing us for a place. Whatever you are experiencing now is not to mar you but to make you. Only focus on Jesus and the result that will surely come at the end – don’t murmur or grumble.

Point of Emphasis:         Do not grumble against one another.

Prayer Point:                  Grant to me Oh Lord, the grace to patiently wait for the result of my faith.
