Get Wisdom, Get Understanding

Prov. 4:1-9

Moses was taught the wisdom of the Egyptians. A leader needs to get wisdom – wisdom to manage his own life rightly, wisdom to manage those under him, wisdom to walk with God without fumbling, wisdom to escape the traps and snares of the world. There is the wisdom you get by acquiring knowledge, there is the worldly wisdom you get by following human philosophy and traditions; there is the wisdom some get through demonic impartation. The highest wisdom that yields the highest result is that which one gets from God. It is good to be educated, but not enough. With education, you need to seek wisdom and understanding. As you draw closer to God, He grants you the wisdom you need for every area of your life.

Point of Emphasis:      The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Prayer Point:               Grant unto me, O Lord, wisdom from above for every sphere of my life.

ACQUIERS LA SAGESSE, ACQUIERS L’INTELLIGENCE

PROVERBES 4 :1-9

Moïse fut instruit dans la sagesse des Egyptiens. Un dirigeant a besoin d’acquérir la sagesse, celle de gérer de manière convenable sa vie à lui, de bien gérer ses subordonnés, de marcher avec Dieu sans tripoter, d’échapper à tous les pièges et les traquenards du monde. Il y a la sagesse que tu obtiens par l’acquisition de la connaissance; il y a la sagesse mondaine que tu acquiers en suivant la philosophie et les traditions humaines; il y a la sagesse que certains acquiescent par transmission ou communication démoniaque. La plus grande sagesse qui produit le plus grand résultat est celle que l’on obtient de Dieu. C’est bien d’être éduqué, mais pas assez. En plus de l’éducation, tu as besoin de rechercher la sagesse et l’intelligence. De même que tu t’approches plus près de Dieu, il t’accorde la sagesse dont tu as besoin pour chaque domaine de ta vie.

Point essentiel : La crainte de l’Eternel est le commencement de la sagesse, et la connaissance du Saint d’Israël est l’intelligence.

Axe de prière : Accorde-moi, O Eternel, la sagesse d’en haut pour chaque sphère de ma vie.
