They Laid Their Hands On Them

Acts 8:12-17

Immediately the persecution arose, the disciples were scattered everywhere. But because of the Holy Spirit power they had received, they were preaching wherever they went. Philip preached in Samaria and many people’s hearts were won for Christ and they had water baptism. When the other apostles in Jerusalem heard the news, they sent Peter and John to go and encourage them. When they got there and discovered they were yet to receive the Holy Spirit, they prayed for them and laid hands on the people and they received the Holy Spirit. If the ministers are led, believers can also receive the Holy Spirit through laying of hands of Spirit-filled ministers of God. They can still receive Him without laying of hands as seen on the day of Pentecost and in Cornelius’ house.

Point of Emphasis:     Water baptism is not enough, you also need Holy Spirit baptism.

Prayer Point:              Lord, lay Your hands on me for Holy Spirit baptism.

ILS LEUR IMPOSAIENT LES MAINS

ACTES 8:12-17
