The Resurrected Body

1 Cor. 15:35-49

It is not unusual for some people to be thinking about the nature of the resurrected body. Some may ask, those who are blind, lame, deaf, maimed etc. in this world, will they remain like that when they are resurrected? Paul, through the power and illumination of God, answered them using the analogy of agriculture. He said when we sow, what we get later (the body) is not the same like the grain we planted. It is the same with the dead or physical body, it is sown in corruption but raised in incorruption. It is sown in weakness and raised in power. It is sown a natural body but raised a spiritual body. In essence, it will not be like our present physical body but be much more glorious than it.

Point of Emphasis: The resurrected body will bear the image of Jesus, the heavenly Man (v. 49).

Prayer Point:            Lord, help me to be a partaker of this glorious resurrection.

LE CORPS RESSUSCITE

1CO. 15 :35-49     

 C’est inhabituel pour certaines personnes de penser à la nature du corps ressuscité. D’aucuns se poseraient la question de savoir si ceux qui sont aveugles, boiteux, sourds, estropiés, etc. dans ce monde resteront comme ils le sont à la résurrection ? Paul, par la puissance et l’illumination de Dieu, leur répondit en utilisant l’analogie de l’agriculture. Il dit que quand nous semons, ce que nous obtenons après (le corps) n’est pas la même chose avec le grain semé. Il en est de même aussi avec les morts ou le corps physique. Il est semé corruptible mais ressuscité incorruptible. Il est semé faible mais ressuscité puissant. Il est semé un corps naturel mais ressuscité en un corps spirituel. Il ne sera pas essentiellement comme notre corps physique actuel mais beaucoup plus glorieux que lui.                       

Point essentiel : Le corps ressuscité portera l’image de Jésus, l’homme céleste. (v. 49).

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à avoir part à cette glorieuse résurrection.
