Put Off Anger

Col. 3:1-8

Many will be quick to quote “be angry, and do not sin” (Psalm 4:4a) to justify their show of anger. Quite often though, the anger leads to sin. A person who will be able to control his anger to prevent him from sin, will also be able to control himself to curtail his anger. God knows where anger can lead us, so He commands us to put away anger. The question is “is it possible to live without getting angry?” Anger is a natural passion, which must be put under control. For those who have been raised with Christ, the Holy Spirit will work in them the gentle spirit which is able to handle every irritating situation with calmness. God will not take away those unpleasant situations, but will give the Christian the balm that makes the irritant harmless.

Point of Emphasis:      If indeed you have been raised with Christ, put off anger from your bosom.

Prayer Point:   Holy Spirit, do the perfect work of redemption in my life. Cleanse me off the spirit of anger.

RENONCE A LA COLERE

COLOSSIENS 3 :1-8
