Examine Yourself Before Eating

1 Cor. 11:27-34

Apostle Paul was not happy with the report he heard about how the Corinthian Christians were observing the Lord’s Supper and he had to write them on the proper attitude they must put on before eating it. This is applicable to all Christians today. The Lord’s Supper is not what one should eat with unconfessed sins, grudges, malice or idolatry. Some are eating at the Lord’s Table and are also eating at the Devil’s table through membership of occult societies (1 Cor. 10:18-22). All these people will be judged by God. This is why it is important to always examine ourselves, confess any wrong doing, ask for forgiveness before eating at the Lord’s Table.

Point of Emphasis: If we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged (v. 31)

Prayer Point:            Help me Lord not to eat the Lord’s Supper to my damnation.

EXAMINE-TOI AVANT DE MANGER

1CO. 11 :27-34
