Being Like Jesus In Life And Ministry

Matt. 4:18-25

Just like Jesus called the disciples during His earthly ministry so He is still calling every Christian to follow Him today. His plan is to train, equip and empower His followers to carry on the ministry of saving the lost. To fit into His plan the Christian needs to model his life to replicate that of Jesus in holiness, humility, obedience to God’s command, prayer life, passion for the lost etc. The mature Christian also patterns his ministry after the ministry of Jesus Christ. Jesus ministered to the spiritual needs of the people so as to reconcile them to God by preaching the gospel everywhere He went. He also ministered to their physical needs. He healed the sick, delivered those that were afflicted and fed the hungry. God’s plan is to empower the Christian to carry out these ministry works through the power of the Holy Spirit. The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God empowered to meet today’s needs.

Point of Emphasis:        When Jesus would appear, we will be like Him.

Prayer Point:            I submit my life to You, God. Help me conform to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ.

ETRE COMME JESUS DANS LA VIE ET LE MINISTERE

MATTHIEU 4 :18-25

Aide-moi à me conformer à l’image du Seigneur Jésus-Christ.
