Live In The Spirit

Rom. 8:5-13

Are you spiritual or carnal? Those who are carnal set their minds on the things of the flesh, natural and mundane things but those who are spiritual are those who walk, eat, dress and generally live in the Spirit. Such people have the life and peace of God. To live in the Spirit is to have the Holy Spirit, be attentive to Him, follow His directions and obey Him to the letter. Such people will find it easy to please God in their daily endeavours. If they are having any weakness or ailment in their bodies, the Spirit of God in them will always strengthen and heal their bodies for effective Christian living. Above all, those who live in the Spirit will not fulfil the desire of the flesh.

Point of Emphasis:     Put to death the deeds of the body by the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Point:              Holy Spirit, help me to live by Your dictates all my life.

VIVRE SELON L’ESPRIT

RO. 8:5-13

Es-tu spirituel ou charnel? Ceux qui sont charnels ont l’esprit fixé sur les choses de la chair quoique mondaines ou naturelles alors que ceux qui sont spirituels sont ceux-là qui marchent, mangent, s’habillent, et de façon générale vivent dans l’Esprit.  De telles personnes ont la vie et la paix de Dieu. Vivre dans l’Esprit veut dire avoir le Saint-Esprit, lui être attentif, suivre ses préceptes et lui obéir à la lettre. De telles personnes le trouveront facile de plaire à Dieu dans leurs entreprises quotidiennes. S’ils ont quelque faiblesse ou maladie dans leurs corps, l’Esprit de Dieu en eux fortifiera et guérira toujours leurs corps pour une vie chrétienne efficace. Par-dessus tout, ceux qui vivent dans l’Esprit n’accompliront pas les désirs de la chair.

Point essentiel : Fais mourir les actions du corps par le Saint-Esprit.

Axe de prière : Saint-Esprit, aide-moi à vivre toute ma vie selon tes préceptes.
