Emulate The Good Works Of Tabitha

Acts 9:36-43

If there is any question that we should be asking ourselves from time to time, it is “what will people say about me after I might have departed from this world?” This is very important because it can help us to call ourselves to order anytime we want to go astray. In Joppa, there was a woman named Tabitha, meaning Dorcas. The Bible says she was full of good works and charitable deeds. She didn’t count it to be something when she was alive but after her demise, the recipient of her good works started recounting the good things she had done for them. This further motivated Peter to pray for her and she came back to life. Let us emulate Dorcas in doing good works that can be testified of.

Point of Emphasis:         Whatever you do today will become history tomorrow.

Prayer Point:                  Lord, help me to be full of good works in my dealings with others.

IMITE LES BONNES ŒUVRES DE TABITHA

ACTES 9 :36-43

S’il existe une question que nous devons nous poser de temps en temps, c’est ‘que diront les gens de moi quand je serai parti de ce monde ? Cela est très important car elle nous aide à nous rappeler à l’ordre chaque fois que nous voulons nous égarer. A Joppé, il y avait une femme nommée Tabitha, ce qui signifie Dorcas. La Bible dit qu’elle faisait beaucoup de bonnes œuvres et des actes de charité. De son vivant, elle n’accorda aucune valeur à cela, mais après sa mort, les récipiendaires de ses bonnes œuvres se mirent à raconter les bonnes œuvres qu’elle leur avait faites. Cela motiva Pierre de plus à prier pour elle et revint à la vie. Imitons Dorcas en faisant de bonnes œuvres dont on peut rendre témoignage.

Point essentiel : Ce que tu fais aujourd’hui deviendra histoire demain.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à faire beaucoup de bonnes œuvres dans mes relations avec les gens.
