Commitment To Holy Living

 Neh. 10:28-31

In the present days, the Church has become worldly and the world has become churchly. Christians are more thirsty for the things of this present world, and care less for those things which are above and are eternal. In the parable of the wheat and tares, the owner of the field instructed his servants not to attempt to uproot the tares, because of the close resemblance between the two. In the same way many Christians behave like unbelievers. But when genuine revival occurs, there is bound to be a separation. Genuinely revived Christians separate themselves from the world and make firm commitment to live holy. Is your garment spotless and white as snow? Are you separated from the world? Or is the world still part of you?

Point of Emphasis:     They separated themselves with an oath to observe and do all the commandments of the Lord.

Prayer Point:              God, grant us the grace to fully devote ourselves to obedience to Your laws.

DEVOTION A UNE VIE SAINTE

 NEH. 10:28-31
