Remedy For Lukewarmness

Rev. 3:16-18

Jesus described the spiritual condition of the Laodicea church as neither cold nor hot. A lukewarm church is one that compromises with the world and resembles its surrounding environment. It is in a spiritually wretched state. In verses 15-17, Jesus warns the church about His judgment against spiritual lukewarmness. The remedy to avoid God’s judgment is for them to honour Christ’s invitation of repentance so that they can be restored to a place of faith, righteousness, revelation and fellowship. Jesus offers you today His remedy for your lukewarmness, He says, repent, wake up from your passive state and become an active vessel. He is ready to restore you.

Point of Emphasis:         Receive the godly counsel before it is too late.

Prayer Point:                  Heal my backsliding so that I can end my Christian race well, O Lord.

LE REMEDE POUR LA TIEDEUR

APOCALYPSE 3 :16-18

Jésus décrivit la condition spirituelle de l’église de Laodicée comme n’étant ni froide ni chaude. Une église tiède est celle qui compromet avec le monde et qui ressemble à ses environs. Elle est dans un état de spiritualité misérable. Aux versets 15-17, Jésus avertit l’église du jugement contre la tiédeur spirituelle. Le remède pour éviter le jugement de Dieu est pour eux d’honorer l’invitation de Christ à la repentance afin qu’ils soient rétablis dans une place de foi, de justice, de révélation et de communion. Jésus t’offre aujourd’hui son remède pour ta tiédeur. Il dit, repends-toi, réveille-toi de ton état passif et deviens un instrument actif. Il est prêt à te restaurer.

Point essentiel : Accepte le conseil pieux avant qu’il ne soit trop tard.
