Take Heed Lest You Fall

1 Cor. 10:1-12

There is one truth that all Christians must know and that is the fact that no one is too big for the Devil to tempt. Devil does not respect anybody irrespective of the height he or she has attained in Christ. If he does not respect Jesus, you can be sure the Devil is not afraid to confront any Christian. For this reason, every Christian must be watchful, careful and take heed to all the warnings that are contained in the Bible. All that have been written in the Bible coupled with contemporary examples of those that are being disciplined, are enough to help us so that we will not fall into sin that will warrant God’s wrath and discipline in our life, the church. We must take heed of them.

Point of Emphasis:         He that thinketh he stands should take heed, lest he falls.

Prayer Point:                  Lord, help me not to over-estimate my spirituality. Help me to take to Your warnings and stand tall in You.
