Gifts Of The Holy Spirit

1 Cor. 12:1-11

For the Church to fulfil her mandate as God ordained it, the Church needs some special endowment. Without these special gifts, the Church will remain a toothless bulldog in the face of the onslaught of the devil. When the Holy Spirit is allowed to fully operate in a congregation, these gifts will begin to manifest – the gift of the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, healings etc. (1 Cor. 12:8-10; Rom. 12:6-8). Spiritual gifts are not meant for personal gain, not for decoration to show those who are to be honoured in the Church. Spiritual gifts are given to empower people to minister to members of the body of Christ. It is sad that sometimes once a member of a congregation receives one gift, he feels it is time to go and start his own Church. This is the reason why we have so much fragmentation within the body of Christ today.

Point of Emphasis:        Gifts of the Holy Spirit are given for every member of the congregation to benefit from.

Prayer Point:            Lord, let there be abundant manifestation of Your gifts in our Church.

LES DONS DU SAINT-ESPRIT

1CO. 12 :1-11

Pour que l’église remplisse son mandat tel qu’ordonné par Dieu, elle a besoin de quelque dotation. Sans ces dons spéciaux, l’église restera un bouledogue édenté devant l’attaque du diable. Quand on permet au Saint-Esprit d’opérer complètement dans une congrégation, ces dons se mettront à se manifester – le don de la parole de sagesse, la parole de connaissance, la foi, les guérisons, etc. (1Co. 12 :8-10 ; Ro. 12 :6-8). Les dons spirituels ne sont pas destinés à des fins personnelles, pas pour la décoration pour montrer ceux qui sont à honorer dans l’église. Les dons spirituels sont donnés pour habiliter les gens à servir les membres du corps de Christ. C’est regrettable de voir souvent que lorsqu’un membre de la congrégation reçoit un don, il pense que c’est le moment d’aller commencer son propre église. C’est la raison pour laquelle nous avons aujourd’hui une fragmentation importante dans le corps de Christ.

Point essentiel : Les dons du Saint-Esprit sont donnés afin chaque membre de la congrégation en tire profit.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, qu’il y ait une manifestation abondante de tes dons dans notre Eglise.
