God’s Appraisal Of The Church In Pergamos

Rev. 2:12-15

Pergamos church lived where Satan’s throne was. Though they held on to God’s name and did not deny their belief in Him, they held the doctrines of Balaam and Nicolaitans which God hated. The teaching of Balaam refers to corrupt teachers and preachers who led the people to fatal compromise with immorality, worldliness and false ideologies – evidently, the church had teachers who taught that saving faith and a lifestyle of immorality were compactible – Nicolaitans’ doctrine.

Point of Emphasis:         “But I have a few things against thee”.

Prayer Point:                  Help me and my church not to compromise in Jesus’ name.

L’EVALUATION DE DIEU DE L’EGLISE A PERGAME

APO. 2 :12-15

L’église de Pergame demeurait là où était le trône de Satan. Bien qu’ils retenaient le nom de Dieu et qu’ils n’avaient pas renié leur foi en lui, ils s’attachaient aux doctrines de Balaam et des Nicolaïtes  que Dieu avait haïes.  La doctrine de Balaam se réfère aux docteurs et aux prédicateurs  corrompus qui avaient conduit le peuple à un compromis fatal avec l’immoralité, la mondanité et les fausses idéologies. Evidemment, l’église avait des docteurs qui enseignaient  cette foi qui sauve et un style de vie immoral qui étaient compatibles avec la doctrine des Nicolaïtes.

Point essentiel : « Mais j’ai quelque chose contre toi »

Axe de prière : Aide-moi et mon église à ne pas compromettre au nom de Jésus.
