Acts 8:4-8

Philip was one of the seven deacons appointed in the early Church to be serving the table. While he was doing the work in Jerusalem, we did not hear of any gift of the Spirit in his ministry. But after the persecution had scattered them and he went to Samaria, as he was preaching, God was performing miracles through him that unclean spirits were crying out of the people with a loud voice and paralytic and lame people were healed and many came to Jesus and believed. This showed that Philip was endowed with the gift of working of miracles but it didn’t manifest until he was preaching the gospel. For the gift to manifest in your life, you must be busy working for the Lord.

Point of Emphasis:             The people may not believe except they see miracles.

Prayer Point:                                      Lord continue to perform miracles that will draw unbelievers to Christ.
