Now Faith Is …

Heb. 11:1-6

Faith means total dependence on God. It advances believers beyond their five senses of seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling and touching. According to Hebrews 11:1, faith is being sure of what we hope for and being certain of what we do not see. Faith means having trust, assurance or confidence in another person or that person’s words. Having faith in God involves an exchange of self-trust for God-trust. It means we stop trusting in ourselves and trust in God alone. We abandon reliance on our limited source of knowledge and start receiving from His unlimited source. Faith is trusting God enough to believe Him and be sure and certain about all He told us in the Bible. Do you have faith in God?

Point of Emphasis: Without faith you cannot please God.

Prayer Point:            Help me to have faith in You by trusting and depending on You always.
