Prayer For The Church In Ephesus

Eph.3:14-21

Despite the condition of Paul in prison, he still remembered to pray for the Church. Another thing that strikes the mind is his posture. ‘’I bow my kneels’’. Although the Bible did not command any posture for prayers but going on the kneels for the Church is highly commendable. The focus of his prayers is the spiritual condition of the inner man and not material needs of the body. Certainly, it is not wrong to pray for the physical and material needs of the church but Paul knew that if the inner man is what it ought to be, the outer man will be taken care of in due time. Let us always ask God to help our inner man that is where the greatest needs are. The purpose of strength in the inner man is that Christ may establish his presence in our hearts, that we may be grounded in sincere love for God, Christ and others, that we may experience the love of Christ and be filled with ‘’all the fullness of God.’’

Point Of Emphasis:        God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that works in us.

Prayer Point:                  Out of Your glorious riches strengthen my inner man that I may be rooted and established in your love.
