A New Creature

2 Cor. 5:14-21

When we become born-again and reconciled to God by the Holy Spirit, then we become new creatures, new being and old things of hatred, malice, gossip, sorrow etc have passed away and all things have become new. The love of Christ that we have received now compels us not to live for ourselves again but to live for Jesus who died for us. If we must live for Jesus, we cannot do it by our own effort or power but we can achieve it only through the Holy Spirit, who will empower us and make us to live for Christ and be His ambassadors of reconciliation.

Point of Emphasis:     All new creatures are Christ’s ambassadors of reconciliation.

Prayer Point:              As a new creature, help me not to live for myself but for God who saved me.
