Be Holy In All Your Conduct
1 Pet. 1:3-15
Before a person comes to the Lord, he has so many characters and principles that were at variance with God’s demand. But the moment that person answers the call of God’s salvation, he needs to take up and take on God’s principles and standards. If truly he is obedient to God’s way of life, he must not conform to his former lists. All those ungodly practices he was involved in before must be dealt with and overcome. He must know that God’s demand is for him to be holy as He, God is holy in all His conducts. Notice the phrase “ALL your conduct”. It is not in some of your conduct, but you must be holy in all your conduct. Know that God’s holiness means that He is completely separated from sin and evil, and so must you.
Point of Emphasis: Pattern your life after God’s character of holiness.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me to be holy as You are holy in all my conducts.
