Train Your Child The Way He Should Go

Pro. 22:1-7

Moses had a good start in life by being trained by his mother the first few years of his life. The training guided him later in life when he had to choose between either remaining in the courts of Pharaoh or being counted along with the oppressed Israelites. It is unfortunate these days that many Christian parents do not have the time to train their children early in life. Children are left either with nannies or in boarding schools. Those, in whose care the children are left, can only train those children their morals and level of knowledge of God. Most of the time the children are left confused or misguided. We are enjoined to train our children the way of the Lord. Even those who are slow in absorbing the training will eventually accept it when the parents do not stop praying.

Point of Emphasis:      Spend quality time to train your children while they are young so you may have rest later.

Prayer Point:               Almighty God, give our children the willing and obedient spirit that they may follow your precepts.

INSTRUIS TON ENFANT SELON LA VOIE QU’IL DOIT SUIVRE

PROVERBES 22 :1-7

Moïse eut un bon départ dans la vie, étant instruit par sa mère durant les quelques premières années de sa vie. L’instruction le guida plus tard dans la vie quand il s’agissait pour lui de choisir soit de rester dans les parvis de Pharaon ou d’être du nombre des Israélites opprimés.  C’est dommage que de nos jours beaucoup de parents chrétiens n’ont pas le temps de d’instruire leurs enfants très tôt dans la vie. Les enfants sont laissés soit aux soins des bonnes (d’enfants) ou dans les internats. Ceux aux soins de qui ces enfants sont gardés, ne peuvent que les instruire selon leurs morales et leur niveau de connaissance de Dieu. Dans la plupart des cas, les enfants restent confus et dans l’erreur. Il nous est prescrit d’instruire nos enfants dans la voie de l’Eternel. Même ceux qui sont lents à imbiber l’instruction finiront par l’accepter si les parents n’arrêtent pas de prier.

Point essentiel : Investis du temps précieux à instruire tes enfants pendant qu’ils sont jeunes afin que tu aies du repos plus tard dans la vie.

Axe de prière : Dieu Tout-puissant, donne à nos enfants l’esprit du vouloir et d’obéissance afin qu’ils puissent suivre tes préceptes.
