Open Heavens

Matt. 3:13-17

From the passage, Jesus received two different baptism on the same day. He went for water baptism and as He came up out of water, the heavens were opened to Him and Jesus saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon him and God confirming Jesus’ sonship and mission. The heavens did not open to Jesus until He was baptised in the Holy Spirit. There are some spiritual assignments and devotion that will be difficult also for a Christian that has not been baptised in the Holy Spirit. This is the reason why you need to ask for the Holy Spirit today. Jesus saw when the Holy Spirit came on Him, you too will know when you are baptised in the Holy Spirit.

Point of Emphasis:     God gave Jesus Holy Spirit without measure (Jn. 3:34)

Prayer Point:              Lord, let my own heavens be opened today and baptise me in the Holy Spirit
