GOFAMINT Men Fellowship was inaugurated during the Annual Convention of the Mission in the Year 1998. The Fellowship was inaugurated on behalf of the Mission by the Assistant General Secretary of the Mission, Pastor S. A. Kolawole, who delivered the message of the day. It was Pastor Abel Afolabi who explained the contents of the Operational Guideline of the Fellowship to the gathering and answered questions bothering on the operation and activities of the fellowship.
Later in the year, Elder Abel Afolabi, now a Pastor, was appointed to be the First National Leader of the Men Fellowship, he was saddled with the responsibility of establishing the fellowship in all the districts of the Mission. The purpose of the fellowship is to foster unity among men in GOFAMINT, to rekindle the fire of evangelism among men and to enhance the growth of Men for self- actualization. This vision has been carried to every nook and cranny of the Mission.
Under the new arrangement of the Mission, Regional, District and Area Pastors have been appointed as Men Fellowship leaders in their domain. They are to be assisted by an assistant who must have to attend men’s fellowship leaders’ meeting at the national level. Leadership: The National Executive Committee of the Fellowship (MEFNEC) oversees the activities of the fellowship. The present members are Pastor Abel O.

Sowole, the Financial Secretary The fellowship organizes annual Conference for all local chapters of the fellowship in all Districts and Areas of the Mission. It also organizes biennial conference for all men in GOFAMINT at the national level.
The last one was held in March 3-5, 2011 with the theme “Lifestyle of Highly Successful Men” It was well attended by men in the Mission. The Guest Speaker was the former Managing Director and Editor-in-chief of the Nigerian Tribune who ministered powerfully on 60 HABITS OF HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE. Another National Conference has been slated for the First week of March 2013. Pastor Peter Oyewole of Itamaga Area has been chosen as the Chairman with Dr. Rufai from Moore District as the Secretary. The theme for the conference is “Total Man” The Fellowship has embarked on the construction of a three storey building project tagged as the Men’s House at the Gospel Town Ibadan. The building is under construction.
