The Need For A Saviour

Gen. 3:1-15

When God created the first man and woman, He created them perfect. They were having a wonderful relationship with God. They had all good things of life being provided by God without stress. Alas, through the deception of the devil, Adam and Eve went against God’s commands and went out of favour with God. The relationship between God and Adam and Eve became sour. And because Adam and Eve were representative of mankind, sin became the nature of all people that came into this world. This situation necessitated the need for a Saviour who would reconcile man back to God. We thank God who immediately promised a Son (Jesus) who did the work. Today all sinners need a Saviour, Jesus, to save them from their sins.

Point of Emphasis:          All have sinned and come short of God’s glory.

Prayer Point:                                     Lord, save all my relatives and friends (mention their names) who are still living in sin.
