Eat Of The Living Bread

Jn. 6:43-58

Jesus is the Living Bread that God sent to mankind, and you were drawn by God to Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit (v. 14). The drawing is not automatic, you have the liberty to reject it though Jesus says “I will draw all men…” (Jn. 12:32). Believers receive spiritual life by believing in Christ Jesus and sharing in the redemptive benefits of His death on the cross (Rom. 3:24-25). Anyone that wants to have spiritual life must remain in fellowship with Christ and His word. Jesus calls Himself the “Bread of Life” (v. 35) and portrays Himself elsewhere as the word of God. In Matthew 4:4, He says ‘man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God’. The promise that those who feed on Jesus will have eternal life should prompt you to hold on to Christ no matter what you are passing through.

Point of Emphasis: Christ is the Bread of Life.

Prayer Point: Lord Jesus give me this bread of life at all times so that I can live forever (Amen)

MANGE DU PAIN DE VIE

JEAN 6 :43-58

Jésus est le pain vivant que Dieu envoya à l’humanité et à qui tu fus attiré par Dieu par la puissance du Saint-Esprit. (v.14). L’attraction n’est pas automatique; tu as la liberté de la rejeter quoique Jésus ait dit : « … j’attirerai tous les hommes …». (Jean 12:32). Les croyants reçoivent la vie spirituelle en croyant en Jésus-Christ et en partageant dans les bénéfices rédempteurs de sa mort sur la croix. (Rom. 3 :24-25). Quiconque désire avoir une vie spirituelle doit rester en communion avec Christ  et avec sa parole. Jésus s’est lui-même appelé ‘le pain de vie’ (v.35) et s’est dépeint lui-même quelque part d’autre comme la parole de Dieu. Dans Matthieu 4 :4, il dit : «… l’homme ne vivra pas de pain seulement, mais de toute parole qui sort de la bouche de Dieu». La promesse que ceux qui se nourrissent de Jésus auront la vie éternelle doit t’inciter à te cramponner à Christ quel que soit ce que tu traverses.

Point Essentiel : Christ est le pain de vie.

Axe de Prière : Seigneur Jésus, donne-moi du pain de vie en tout temps afin que je puisse vivre éternellement. Amen.
