God’s Assignment For Moses
Exo. 3:7-10
The Israelites were undergoing oppression in Egypt; their lives had been made bitter by reason of their taskmasters. They cried to God for deliverance and God was ready to come to their rescue. He chose to call on Moses to confront Pharaoh and to lead the people out of Egypt. God could have chosen to use an angel to do the work, or could have chosen Aaron or someone else. There are many needs around us which God would love to use us to meet. We should count it a privilege that God considers us as partners with Him in the work He is doing. Many a times we are too busy or we have nonchalant attitude to get involved. Some of the time that we get involved we have the attitude of doing God a favor for which He should be grateful to us, or even habour an ulterior motive of self agradisement. God is not limited in options when it comes to carrying out a particular job.
Point of Emphasis: It was a privilege that God call on Moses to be part of the program of delivering the Israelites from Egypt.
Prayer Point: When you call me I will answer, I will be somewhere working for You, Oh God.
