The Fall Of Man Distrupted The Relationship
Gen. 3:1-10
Whenever anything that is treasured and fragile falls, the result is the breaking, shattering and distortion of its original image. The story of the sin of Adam and Eve, our fore parents which by extension affected the whole human race is a representation of the fatal fall from a height so high and glorious to a depth so shameful and hopeless. The fall left the image that was erstwhile good and enviable, battered and distorted not only in Adam and Eve but all their descendants – the human race. Sin has a sting that sinks, shrinks and makes one stink. Man retains the image structurally but not functionally, and man became alienated from God, lost relationship and fellowship and man became slaves of sin. Sin reduces, debases and disgraces. Old time photography treasures the dark room for the development of film negatives and as such any life given to sin is lived in darkness in which everything negative thrives so well.
Point of Emphasis: Sin has a sting that sinks, shrinks and makes one to stink. Prayer Point: God give me power over sin and let your image be restored functionally in my life so that I can relate with you properly
