Do Not Be Unequally Yoked

2 Cor. 6:14-18

No matter how nice and cultured an unbeliever is, he is still under the control of Satan, still walks in darkness and practices unrighteousness. On the contrary, the Christian has given his life to Christ, has been made a child of God and is walking in the light. Some Christians decide to marry unbelievers with the belief that the unbeliever will be converted, or can be managed because of his nice demeanor. Such Christians eventually realise they have chosen to have Satan as a father-in-law. The father-in-law has the right to visit and bring his own gift of discord into the family. Challenges faced in marriage of two genuinely born-again Christians are more than enough. It is compounded many times more when one party in the marriage is an unbeliever. The chance of happiness in such union is zero.

Point of Emphasis: Solving marital problems become almost impossible when one of the partners is an unbeliever.

Prayer Point: In the name of Jesus, we pray that all ungodly associations among our singles be broken completely.
