Peace And Holiness

Heb. 12:12-15

Verse 14 of the passage read this morning affirms that holiness and peace are pre-requisites for seeing the Lord. Therefore you must live a holy life and seek peace with all men. Holiness is God’s purpose in making us new creatures and in giving us the Holy Spirit. Try to live peacefully with everyone, without this, you will not see the Lord. Verse 15 may refer to bitter resentment toward God’s discipline instead of humble submission to His will. Is there any root of bitterness in you? Are  you still struggling to comply with God’s directive? Please change now because tomorrow may be too late.

Point of Emphasis: Without holiness, no one shall see the Lord,

Prayer Point: I don’t want to miss heaven, help me Lord to have peace with all men and help me to be holy.

LA PAIX ET LA SANCTIFICATION

HEBREUX 12 :12-15

Le verset 14 du passage lu ce matin affirme que la paix et la sanctification sont les conditions préalables si tu désires voir le Seigneur. Tu dois donc vivre une vie de sainteté et rechercher la paix avec tous. La sanctification est le dessein de Dieu de faire de nous de nouvelles créatures en nous donnant le Saint-Esprit. Efforce-toi de vivre en paix avec tous, sans laquelle tu ne verras le Seigneur. Le verset 15 pourrait se référer à un ressentiment amer envers la discipline de Dieu au lieu d’une soumission humble à sa volonté. Y a-t-il en toi une racine d’amertume ? Continues-tu de lutter pour te conformer à la directive de Dieu ? Change maintenant s’il te plaît car demain pourrait être trop tard.

Point Essentiel : Sans la sanctification, personne ne verra le Seigneur.

Axe de Prière : Je ne veux pas rater les cieux; aide-moi, Seigneur à avoir la paix avec tous et à être saint.
