Be Born Again

Jn. 3:1-8

Nicodemus was a Pharisee and a member of the Jewish council. He believed that Jesus was sent by God having heard and seen what He had done. He came one night to give Jesus compliments for the miracles He had performed. It was the issue of being born-again that was paramount in the heart of Jesus. He told Nicodemus frankly that “verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man be born-again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (verse 3). This was repeated in verse 5 to show the importance of the subject matter. The issue is as vital today as it was in the days of Jesus’ ministry. The starting point of entering into God’s kingdom is that you must be born-again. It is a core course that any believer who wants to make heaven should take it serious. Irrespective of the name you may claim to bear or whatever people call you, if you are not born-again, you are just deceiving yourself.

Point of Emphasis: You must be born-again.

Prayer Point: Lord Jesus, I have realised the importance of being born-again, I surrender my totality unto You; be the Lord over my life and help me to tell others about you.

SOIS NE DE NOUVEAU

JEAN 3 :1-8

Nicodème était pharisien et membre du conseil juif. Il crut à la réalité que Jésus fut envoyé par Dieu, ayant écouté et vu ce qu’il avait fait. Il vint une nuit à Jésus lui donner des compliments pour les miracles qu’il avait opérés. Ce qui était cher en son cœur était la question de naître de nouveau. Jésus lui dit franchement : « … en vérité, en vérité, je te le dis, si un homme ne naît de nouveau, il ne peut voir le royaume de Dieu». (v.3). Cela fut répété au verset 5 pour montrer l’importance du sujet de discussion. Cette question est de nos jours, aussi vitale qu’elle était du temps du ministère de Jésus. Le point de départ de l’entrée dans le royaume de Dieu est que tu dois naître de nouveau. C’est une matière principale que tout croyant qui désire hériter le royaume des cieux se doit de prendre au sérieux. Indépendamment du nom que tu puisses porter ou quel que soit le nom que les gens t’appellent, si tu ne nais pas de nouveau, tu ne fais que te tromper toi-même.

Point Essentiel : Tu dois naître de nouveau.

Axe de Prière : Seigneur Jésus, j’ai réalisé l’importance du fait de naître de nouveau, je te soumets ma totalité; règne sur ma vie et aide-moi à parler de toi aux autres.
