God’s Original Purpose For Couple
God understands that for two people coming from different socio-economic, and at times, cultural backgrounds to be able to live together in harmony and unity, there is the need for the two to be separated from external parental forces that have been controlling them and live together. During this period of living together, the process of cleaving together in thought pattern, discovery of each others likes and dislikes is set on motion. At this early stage of marriage, couples must try their best not to allow anything to take them away from each other to allow the cleaving together to take place. This foundation must be solidly laid so as to weather any environmental challenge that may be experienced by the family in the future.
Point of Emphasis: For this purpose shall a man leave his parents and be joined to his wife.
Prayer Point: Lord, give me the grace to cleave to my wife alone, forsaking other women.
