God Made Man In His Image And Likeness

Gen. 1:26-27; 2:7

Man was the peak of God’s creation, made as male man and female man are different from all other creations with the special dignity to reflect God’s nature and image and to make relationship and fellowship between God and the man easy. God wanted man by creation to rule and dominate all His works of creation and as His representatives and deputies, with ability reflected in the human capacity for communication and relationship with God. That the spiritual controls the natural is an established fact even from creation. When the use of a thing is not known, its abuse is inevitable. But God gave man the divine ability to name other things created and to know their use.

Point of Emphasis: God made man by design for relationship and dominion.

Prayer Point: Help me Oh Lord to understand the essence of my existence.
